Keynote Speaker at the National Alopecia Areata Foundation's 41st Annual Conference
I was honored to serve as a keynote speaker at the National Alopecia Areata Foundation’s 41st Annual Conference, speaking to a large audience of members of the alopecia community, advocates, medical professionals, and industry representatives. I shared my personal journey with alopecia, the importance of representation and awareness, and discussed my memoir, My Eyes Are Down Here, which explores hair loss, identity, and finding humor through difficult experiences. The talk received a standing ovation, making it an especially momentous milestone in my advocacy and writing career.
